People have pointed out that we were raising kids such as our parents had done.It is partly correct because generation after generation,some principles,standard behavior,the manner how kids have to handle with the challenges which come out during their entire lives never change.However,I realized that there are impressive differences between I and my three sons.When I was 22 years old,the age of the boys now,I was living in the swinging sixties. That extremely predictable and boring world of the past had been put off;sexual liberty,rock and roll and the felling that nothing could be forbitten were the most.We wanted to save the world;we spent hours in a bar’s table drinking beer and discussing politics and leftists writers as Gramci,Luckas,Deutcher etc…Now I know that we were naive even why we didn’t swallow those authors quite well,but I remember that time with fondness.Boys nowadays hate politics,classical writers are not their bussiness.They are interessed in studying hard to arrange a good place to work and make money to buy fancy clothes and impress girls at the ‘balada’.I don’t know witch is the best bevavior,but as the french says eachone has his own necessity.

When Karl Marks said that ‘religions are the opium of the society’,he wasn’t referring to God but to the several supertitions and beliefs created by the mankind so as to control and to intimidate the common people.Since the pre-history,the fear of the unknown has been making people accept all kinds of abuse . For instance, in the beginning,people worshiped acidents in nature such as the sun,a tree, an animal. However, when society became more complex,people changed their gods to gods with a meaning as god of the sea,god of fertility,god of war etc…At the same time,a new class of parasites came out:the priests,who use their apparent contact with God to demean believers with all sort of demands such as asking for money ,goods and sometimes even for their lives as in the Maia civilization.Nowadays,most religions practice monotheism, a sofisticated way to give power to a few to the detriment of the huge majority.Under monotheism priests have been struggling against all kinds of progress.For example,the church didn’t swallow the galileu’s theory that the earth turns around the sun until recently,despite all sorts of evidence. Today,the church condemms the use of condoms to prevent sexual illnesses and to avoid an undesirable pregnancy:they are living in the past,however the worse part being its tendency to frighten people talking about sins that take place only in their dirty minds,threatening them with fire from hell if they don’t do what they want.That is why religions are part of the dark side of the human behavior

Riad – Portofolio # 2

Last October my wife and I went in Paris. One sunday morning we scheduled a visit to the Middle Age museum in Saint-Germain du Pre. There we spent two hours enjoying the paintings, ceramics and, of course, the interesting History of that age. When we left the place, it was rainning cats and dogs and we had no umbrellas nor raincoats. However, there was a church in front of the museum and we looked for a shelter there. When we walked into the church, we faced a huge Gothic Nave, envolved in the shade, with only a bright light coming from the altar. The air smelled of incence as magnificent music, actually, Gregorian chorus sound would echo from the balcony. Throughout the stained glass window we were able too see and hear the storm outside. That atmosphere and music touched our hearts and, humbly we set and listened to it for about one hour. We were touched to the quick. Personally I forgot the Inquisition, the religious wars, the crimes and the corruption in the Scolastic History and for a moment I wondered that religion might be true and I was wrong with my atheist conviction; however when we left the church I realized that religions, all of them, need a lot of tricks to handle and to keep their “sheeps”.

Romantic relationship inside the workplace between two members of the staff could be a dangerous behavior. Everybody knows that singles don’t need to give any satisfaction to anybody about their private lives and every place is a good place for ”players”; however some considerations must be done, at first it is forbitten for a married person to stick with an affair because is unfair to the absent part of the couple and even when the relationship is not working anymore,;on the other hand , others workmates certainly would be gossiping with a dirty-minded way mantaining a bad mood in the workplace and that would be interfering with the good course of the job;at second,people who use to be together day after day,sharing the same goals , the same interesting and concerns could be attracted by eachother, it’s natural ;par example,doctors and nurses who have been working side by side for hours and hours saving lives, at the end ,sometimes feel an uncontrollable desire to stay together at the timeoff and that is the way that all happens. As I wrote before, between singles,there is no problem, however, showing affections like kisses or caress during the worktime are counterproductive, it’s badly seen by the customers and the other workers ,seeming lack of respect and that bevavior takes away from the mind the focus of the work. The question is, should be avoid dating with a workmate? I don’t think so but both must take care with their behavior and think:romance is a very good idea after the job and not during.

The D-day how that event has changed the world the date is june 1944,the second world war was ending up,the nazi empire was severely bleeding in the front as if in the inner country where the cities suffered deeply with the air bombing;the soviets beared all the strengh of the german army until that moment and had pleaded for a second front in the west.In England ,americans,the enghish,the french and the commonwealh troops were waiting to invade the European continent throughout the Enghish canal;one cloudy day,the General Commander gave the order;,ships ,airplanes,troops took over the mission and after a terrible journey across the canal,they invaded the Normandy beaches. The nazi were ready for that moment ; at the beginning, the allied lost several men and equipment undertaken all the invasion,the bloody fight seemed to hang to the defenders,however, with the suport of the air force and the ships bombing the enemies without no rest,the face of victory turned over to the allied; they stablished a strong shelter on the beach and day after day they conquered more and more positions in the ground allowing their background to increase more and more equipment like fuel,tanks ,supplies and brand new troops to the beach. After that the allied beat the germans in all France,opening the way to Paris and to the final victory. Nowadays according the experts if the allied had failed in that big event it would have a disaster in the all campaign with the probable victory of the nazi-fascism and the democracy as we know as an ideal government would be challenged until now by the worse and evil political regime the world has ever seen.

Riad # 5 — Description of a Person

One day a strange man came to my office , he looks like very old ,his face showed me that he was very sad and worried,he was well-dressed but his gray hair was completely untide,his dark eyes were with tears and his rough-looking face denoted that he was suffering a huge pain;he was wearing a dark suit that was loose on his skinny body that was curling up while he began to talk ,when he sat I noticed that he was older than I had suposed at the first momment but his shoes were very expensive,thereafter he moved his thin lips I realized what the problem was.

Riad – # 4 – Chilling News

Chilling news. In the middle of the night, drive me crazy when I’m not prepared to take in it, at the first moment I feel completely distressed and I have no reaction but as a doctor I have been trainned to overcome that behavior and gradually I calm down. Par example
Saturday night I was sleeping when the phone called and a strange voice told me that he was a member of the fire-brigade appointed to the rescue staff and trying to speak calmaly he said that my son with four other guys have suffered a car accident, I became astonished and I could’t handle with that at the first moment ;I really was driving to pannic;after a while,gradually I became cool ,asked for details and I prepared myself to go there. I reached the place and I found out a very sad scenario ;two cars completely destroied and the boys and one girl bleeding in several injuries, I kept my cold blood and with the valious help of the paramedics I made the first aid in all of them and after that I took them to the hospital,at that moment I felt relief because I realized that the wounded guys including my son didn’t suffer any mortal or serious injury, all that mess could be fixed
In front an acute bad happenings people must maintin the self control to handle the problem with efficacy.

mental illness is a genetic diesease that it appears all over the world independent of the social class,education,religion,good relativies or not,enviroment or another thing that in society can change a person ;,par example,a lot of famous families as the former russian royal family had a lot of members with mental illness and other genetic ilness like hemofilia,that’s why a lot of diaseses cannot be cured by the doctors but only can be controlled by them.
