PS: Also, because the purpose of this course is to focus on standard English, I think it would be a wiser idea for us to refrain ourselves from using chat language in this blog. I am referring to your response to Marina’s blog entry last week. Maybe it would be a great idea if you revised it in a more formal, standard way of writing. What do you think?

I am quite curious to see how much of the Uruguayan culture you have retained in you, after all, your mom is Uruguayian and you have had contact with her all along. What does it really mean to say that you feel Brazilian?

I also have another question for you to think of. I am not so sure that I agree with religious schools, because they give me the impression of segregating anyone who is different from them from the rest of society. Obviously, I am speaking from an outsider’s point of view, especially of someone who grew up in America where cultural mixing is highly valued. I don’t mean to judge you or your school at all here. I am just trying to understand it better.

Oh, and I didn’t know about your singing. Maybe you can show us in class someday. Also, I am quite happy SPFC’s number of fans is growing by the miliseconds. (laughters)
